Our Story
We are a family-owned, small farm in Lithia, Florida, just outside of Tampa, specializing in mini cattle, including Registered Pandas, Galloways, White Parks, and Highland crosses, as well as purebred varieties. Our farm is a sanctuary where we coexist with the local wildlife, including occasional visits from alligators (see the picture below!), and the natural beauty of Florida’s flora.
For years, we've carefully selected only the highest quality miniature cattle, and our efforts have paid off. We've worked tirelessly to build our herd, focusing on small, fluffy animals with excellent traits. For the past couple of years, we've been using artificial insemination (AI) on our heifers while searching for the perfect herd sire. We wanted a Chondro-positive mini bull, polled, with great conformation, excellent balance, and an easygoing, gentle disposition. After four years of searching, we finally found Whiskey – a Highpark bull with a shaggy coat, just as we had hoped! We are also excited to offer AI straws from Whiskey. He carries the Chondro gene, the A2/A2 gene (ideal for milk production), and is polled.
Though our farm is small, we demonstrate that with thoughtful management, these mini cattle can be raised, enjoyed, and allowed to thrive in a sustainable and rewarding environment.
